piece of paper. Not Origami..? About a year ago somebody sent an email around the office with pictures of paper sculptures. They were created by tearing out the center of a piece of paper, some quite large pieces of paper, and folding it into something so that the hole left by the 'tearing out' was part of the art in some way.

I'm trying to remember specifics of some of them. One made it look like the paper was snow and somebody had started to roll a snowball into a giant snowball and was making a snowman. The tear of the paper was the missing snow after the snowball had been rolled across it, increasing the ball in size.

Another was a large house of some sort and the tear was the shadow it was casting.

Every few weeks I have spent and hour or so searching the web, but can't find them. They were being displayed as part of a gallery exhibit but I think they were all done by different artists.

Note that this wasn't an Origami exhibit. It was something specifically related to tearing out the paper to make the sculpture.
