Looking for an Anime following this criteria!?

I'm looking for an anime series that involves an intellectual male lead, with a more down to earth, not super smart female lead. Similar series's that fit this discription are:

Death Note
Code Geass
Ghost Hunt <<
Shinrei Tantei Yakumo <<

The marked two especially have what I'm looking for. In both of those there is an underlying romance and the male lead is a bit of a jerk, but sweet when it counts and over all incredibly intelligent. They also all have a great plot such as cases for crimes/wit battles over an oponent.

Any help will be appreciated!
 
The two i can think of is:

Detective Conan
-You've prob heard of this. The main male character is a genius and the main girl lead isnt super smart. There of course is romance but the series is so long that you might get tired O_O


Detective Academy Q
-This one sounds like what u want. The main male character is super smart. The female lead is also smart and talented but not as smart and creative as the main male character and there is romance too so...
 
For the start, these should be like yours in several ways (as you pointed out)

Pandora Hearts, it has the same "dark" feeling, the male lead is actually very intelligent and are very good at observing, the female lead.. yeah.. is not really that smart, it has a tiny touch of romance, not enough to categorize it as a Romance anime though, you can also compare it to the others with the plot, in Pandora Hearts the male lead are trying to figure out what his "Sin" was, and the female lead are trying to regain her memory hunting monsters from "Abyss" its a quite good anime, i did enjoy watching it :)

D.Gray-man, again it has abit of a dark feeling, the male lead is quite smart, it has a very very tiny, nearly no sight of romance, but it has the overall same feeling as these animes, its a great anime which i also did enjoy watching.

Kaze no Stigma, it doesn't have the overall feeling as these, but it fills out the criterias, first of all, a smart male lead, second a nearly stupid female lead, and a fairly good plot!:)

those we're all which fitted (which i remember).

Well I know an anime where the male lead is the smartest in school where the female lead is close to or is the dumbest and its based on romance, no action or crimes with battles or anything I think (yeh i havnt even seen it yet, just know the its smart guy and dumb girl:P)
