Looking for an alarm app that plays MP3s for N73

I cant seem to find one. I would like to set a daily alarm with a snooze option that will play an mp3 off of the memory card.

Any out there?

i'm using Smartphoneware's BestAlarms. it fits your requirements and it does recurring alarms which the built-in clock alarm can't do.

i think the mp3 has to be in the "sounds" folder for you to be able to select it. but it CAN be on either the card or the phone

Yep, and FYI - if you want a third-party alarm app that:

1. Autostarts
2. Has a snooze function
3. Does not disable your multimedia key when it goes off (N80 and others)

Then your only option is Handy Alarm v1.01.

Right... The alarm engine and functionality in Handy Clock is Handy Alarm. You can see if you UnSiS them. The only difference is Handy Alarm won't murder your battery like all of the extra junk in Handy Clock.

OK, I go to bed too late and cant get up early for work.

I guess I need to try Best Alarms first before I give up. But I need an alarm program where I can:

1.????Set up in advance my weekday alarms
2.????Play my alarm sound for at least 1 to 2 minutes
3.????Have a manual snooze button that I can set up; to sound alarm every ?x? seconds after snooze.

On past devices I used Burr Oak Travel Alarm which had these functions.

Anyone?

Why don't you set an alarm to your calendar entries? If you're not using your calendar, it'd be a great time to start.

Handy Alarm 1.01 does have snooze. Just press "cancel" instead of "ok" when the alarm is sounding and it will snooze for 4 minutes.

I am trying to set up a recurring alarm in the calendar for like every Monday a recurring item in calendar. Cant seem to see how to do that.

When you create a new event, make the event recurring and set an alarm to it. It'll ask you which day for the alarm, but if it's recurring the alarm will go off every time the event occurs.

How did you manage to select weekdays?? I've never seen that option in the calendar. Daily, weekly, monthly, fortnightly etc yes... but weekdays, no. Where is that?

Even Papyrus doesn't seem to allow an automatic "weekdays" appointment entry.

Set an appointment for every day of the week and set each of those appointments for weekly.
