Looking for a reliable GPS system for my car that has text-to-speech,

bluetooth? What do you recommend? I am in Real Estate and constantly showing houses. So I need an excellent one, so that I don't get lost. I heard either a Tomtom or Garmin, but not sure which one to get. Also, I was told that Tomtom you don't have to pay for updated maps? Is this true?
