Looking for a phone and network that support dial up connections.

I frequently have to dial into equipment, to check if it is operational. It is a pain to have to find a land line to do it from. I know that I had a I1000 on Nextel a few years ago that did this, but I don't know if any of the networks currently support this.

I thought that I'd try again...
I also meant to say that I want to use the phone with a laptop to establish a dial up connection.
