Looking for a obscure s60 app.

When I got my E71 a few years ago it came with a bunch of blah Rogers apps, but one of them I found handy. It was a IM program that let you use text messages to send IMs instead of using data. It was a battery saver for me when I was going to be no where near a charger.

Here is the thing, I had to do a hard a reset of my phone and POOF, all the Rogers apps are gone. I have spent about four hours on the phone with Rogers seeing if they can find the. I was told that I should remove the battery, and then restart the phone. Ummm, I hard reset the phone, was good is doing a soft reset going to do? Magically make the app come back? The only thing I got was a deal for 20 dollars off an iPhone4 and a uncontrollable urge to go to a Rogers stores and start throwing things.

So now I am back to HowardForumm for help. Does anyone know where I might find this Windows Live/Yahoo app that uses text messages to send IMs?

I did find it on this site once a long time ago, so I was hoping someone kind soul would help me out again.

Can't he use something like navifirm to download the entire Rogers firmware version for his e71 ?
 
PC Suite should have a component that uses Flash to Connect to Nokia to download Rogers Firmware.
BACKUP your stuff and do it WITHOUT MicroSD in slot - or back that up too.
 
Problem with that is that I am using Linux. That's why I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to the .sisx file.
 
I recall something for BlackBerrys that used SMS instead of data for IM. It was called Oz Messenger and may have been available for other platforms like Windows Mobile. Maybe they have a Symbian version.
