Hi, I'm looking to switch over to verizon from t-mobile because of t-mobiles lack of signal in many areas where I live. My girlfriend has verizon and we would like to go under a family share program.
Basically, I want a phone that will allow me to text, check emails and surf the web (no WAP only, full HTML). I'd like to also take pictures, listen to mp3s and watch videos, but those are extras and not nessecary. I'd also like to spend as little money as possible.
I've spent the last 3 hours looking at what Verizon has. I'm very interested in the XV6700. I think I would really like that phone. I definatly do not want the Treo, the SCH-i730 was interesting. But the big thing that puts me off about Verizon is the $50 data package on top of the voice packages. I can deal with the $400 price tag of the phone, but that $50 a month + $50 for voice will turn into at least $1200 a year for 2 years.
If anyone has any suggestions for Verizon phones, or maybe other phones on diffrent carriers with some cheaper prices, I'd greatly appricate it.
