Looking for a New Nextel phone!?

Ok here is the issue. I am looking to buy a new phone with nextel but I am tired of the service that I have been getting on my phone.
I have had my i870 for about a year and a half

Phone lifetime: 149:55:52
DC/GC lifetime: 187:06:07

Plus I run with a fire dept. To make a long story short I killed the I530 and the I730 was passed onto my mother...which I didn't like the phone to begin with. The i870 is holding up pretty good however it is starting to show it's wear and tear.

All I need are some of the following
Text messaging, calender and enough memory to load up some of my favorite ringtones, plus cell service... the girlfriend is tired of me losing her all the time.

Any suggestions on which nextel phone is for me?
I was looking at the Ic502 but I am not sure if it will be ok.

Or maybe another carrier is right for me.
Any help would be great thanks!

the ic502 is a good phone,its just the basics but it works.
no camera,BT
you should check with sprint to see what the sprint cdma coverage is(powersource map shows coverage for the icXXX phones,dont go by the cdma only map)
as far as rings go its a bit diffrent with the powersource phones than with nextel phones the plug is diffrent on the icXXX phones so no chance on not needing to buy new car charger and data cable(5pin mini USB) check your pm's

I would go for the blue/silver phone cause it comes factory with an extended battery(your gona want it the normal battery is ****)

if you do get the phone be sure to over the air update it ASAP to the newest software now its .29 this will correct some charger/battery issues
