Looking for a movie about a guy that drives his car off a cliff and becomes a ghost.?

I'm looking for a movies from the late 80's / early 90's. At the beginning of the movie he is racing his car and playing chicken with his friends. He drives off the cliff, dies and becomes a ghost. Does anyone know this movie??
