Hi there,
I'm not exactly sure wheter I am at the right spot here, but I am looking for a kind of database / knowledge base program.

What I want to do is enter all kinds of data myself. (text, tables, graphics), and then be able to group things. Something like iSilo, except that in iSilo I cannot edit anything.

Does any of you have an idea of what software I might want to buy ?

You can handle the data part with any good database like HanDBase. HanDBase will also handle graphics as a field although you'll have to reference the graphic content in another field if you want to use the graphic content to sort on. You can get a trial copy at www.ddhsoftware.com .

SmartList To Go is another popular database. SmartList is good, but it mainly syncs with Microsoft Access. There is not much support for syncing with other databases.

There are many free premade templates which you can download from the DataViz web site. If you have purchased Documents To Go, there is a pretty good chance you may qualify for a discount on Smartlist To Go.

I like MobileDB from Handmark. The principle reason is that it works on my T5 whereas HanDbase doesn't.

MobileDB is not as functional as HDB with graphics etc but if you use Access on your desktop, I also prefer the interface to transition those files to the handheld compared to HDB.

But this is always a matter of personal preference so all 3 programs named to date are shareware - try before you buy.
