I am looking for a first car for myself, and went to view some cars yesterday. I really liked this one car, however, it had some faults with it that I know can be sorted, but the cost of sorting them puts me off. Would anyone have any knowledge on prices for me?
One of the issues was the hand brake didn't work. Well, it did, but would need tightening. How much would this cost?
Also, the front drivers seat had twisted to the right and lent on the door in the position I would use to drive. I can see it's been twisted for a while, as the fabric for the seat had rubbed away from constant friction with the door. Would it be possible to untwist the seat, or would I have to a buy a new seat? How much would both options cost me?
The car was a 1997 vauxhall corsa, sport version.
Any suggestions on pricing would be greatly recieved! And sorry about the long post :S
I have a decent budget, but really want a corsa. I've seen another one since that was really nice, but didn't give me the same feeling as the other corsa with wonky seats did. However, after you comments, I won't buy the wonky seated one. Thanks for your help!
