Looking for a film

There was a japanese (I think) film in which a woman has a sexual affair with this older man who rides a bicicyle for some reason.
While at the same time, this woman is in a relationship with this boring, sexually vanilla guy her own age.

It was on channel 4 years ago (late nineties, maybe).

Anyone know the name?

It sounRAB like it might be Tandem.

Shown on channel 4 / 4later during their Secrets Of Japan season. They also showed The Dream Of Garuda and The Bedroom as well as Godzilla. They even had the ident changed to a Japanese 4.

I saw it on CH4 when it was still a decent channel
It was very sensual from what I remember

I still have it on tape from it's broadcast on 4later.
But I never really watch it. You know what vhs tapes are like, the more you watch, the worse there condition.

You could transfer it to a DVD. I don't know anything about computers but think it's possible!

Yeah I hope to do that one day with everything I taped from 4later. But it's affording a DVD recorder!

If I did buy a DVD recorder, I wouldn't really have much use for it after copying a few VHS's.

I'm just getting to the end of my 2 year project to convert all my VHS tapes to DVD, and I'm really chuffed about it.

You should be able to find a decent DVD recorder with freeview included for less than
