Looking for a couple of TX programs.

Hello,

I am looking for two programs

one which lets you turn your tx on and off

and also

a program to let you use your tx in "drive mode."

do these exist?

You should not need any program at all to be able to turn it ON and OFF. If it won't turn ON or OFF by pressing the power button then it has a problem that needs to be addressed.

ty for your reply, but the reason I am looking for a program of this nature is due to the case I am currently using. It would be more convenient to turn my tx on and off with my stylus than to lift it out of the case to do so.

Any of the front panel buttons should turn it ON, and it should turn off after a preset amount of time. Alternatively, you can use an app called EasyLaunch which will turn it off using the stylus on the screen.

Freeware program called mOff works on the TX. I've been using it for years. As far as turning the TX on, since it is Off, there is no way to access a program on the screen to do this, but if you don't disable the keys - by locking them, any of the hard buttons will turn the TX on.

As a side note - there is also a program called mreset (similar to moff) that performs a soft reset on your device.

Add to the list "offstroke" which is great and also freeware (available at FreewarePalm), and TealLaunch will allow an upstroke from screen bottom to top to turn off. I use offstroke daily. I believe the TX has no "house" button, but on the T3 even with the slider closed you can activate "off" by moving the stylus from the small bottom row icons.
