Looking at getting a new Nokia

Currently I own the Sony Ericsson W850i, wicked phone is every aspect (apart from the camera), just looking for something new and exciting. The reason why I bought it was to replace MP3 player, and to try out Walkman Player 2.0 and A2DP.

Now that I have done so, I want to get a Nokia. I have used Nokia in the past and was very pleased with them. The thing is that I am not sure which series to get 40 or 60. I have never owned a Series 60 Nokia before. Either of these 2 things I would like in the phone, wifi or decent camera.

I have narrowed down the phones to these models:

N73, E61i, E65 and N75

Also my contract from Fido is due for a renew in 2 months time, and I will most likely be picking up the 6300 from them. My price range is between $400-500 CAD

Thanks, Raj

I would go for the N73 since it's quad-band and has decent camera.

My second would be the E65 just because it's more expensive than the N73.

Ok thanks alot, I was leaning towards it because it is cheaper than the E65 (still love the design), also on the N73 there are a few different versions of it, regular, music edition, and an internet edition. Does that have wifi?

Nope it doesn't have WiFi so if you really need WiFi, go for the E65.

You could always flash the regular version with ME or IE firmware but those firmwares are not as stable as the latest vanilla N73 firmware. With the N73ME, you get the ME black housing along with 2GB miniSD but it's $50-$60 more expensive.

Nokia seems to be lagging behind when it comes to cameras. I'd focus on WiFi more. The N80IE should be in that price range.

As an N62 user, I can comfortably recommend the E61i/E61 as well. If you do a lot of SMS (probably not since Fido has crap SMS plans...) then it's definitely worth it for the keyboard.
