...pump to make spin.? We had an outdoor toy in the early to mid 70's. We called it the Merry Go Round. It had seats for 4 children on the ends of two cross bars with the seats facing the middle. It was operated by pumping the hand and foot rests in front of each seat, propelling all four seats (and kids) to spin in a circle. One child could ride it alone, but it went faster with four pumping! Several of my friends had one, but I can't find any information about these now--even to confirm that "merry-go-round" is the proper name. Do you know what these were called, who made them, and if anything similar is still made? Thank you.
