Looked at boyfriend's chat logs and he found out?

I know I shouldn't have but I've looked at msn chat logs of my boyfriend's where he's talking to a girl from university. I only did it because when we were together and he signed in to msn there was an offline message from her saying goodbye in a flirty way, and they're living together next year.
a lot of it was him asking about her love life :S
anyway, he must have found out because I tried to check it again (yes, I know...) and he'd deleted all the chat logs of hers, but kept the others. The weird thing is he hasn't said anything about it and now I feel sick whenever I see him. What can I do?
Oh and he must've found out by looking in recent documents...but is it possible he thinks it's something the comp did automatically and is giving me the benefit of the doubt?
 
Hunnie I wouldn't put up with that one bit, you have found out and some how you got to tell him you know. If he denies it then hes worthless, to be honest what hes done in my eyes makes him weak. Hes with you and shouldn't be chatting up others on the Internet. Believe me Ive found things out before and if you don't deal with it it will play on your mind all the time.
Your worth more hunnie, find a man that will treat you right and give you respect and not chat up other woman!

I kind of... get worried about what guys wot I like say to other people too. I'd bring it up in conversation casually and then see what happens, otherwise confront him about it.
