Outside and just to the left of the window on the left the postman has just trod on a snail.
Nothing remakable in that except this particular snail had just got married - AND was pregant.
Nothing very remarkable in that, except snails don't have to get married to become pregant because they don't have to have sex. They are one of those funny things that the Lord, in his infinite wisdom, created for a laugh.
Snails are all single parents.
But this particular snail was in love.
With a stone.
For, you see, this snail had bad eyesight!
She/he/it had been courting the stone for weeks and had told her/his/its life story (boring to us but jolly exciting for a stone because they don't get out much) and the snail loved it because it was a good listener.
At least that's what the snail thought.
In fact the stone was really screaming "Shut Up!" but the snail couldn't hear it because stones don't have mouths.
So the postman has killed it - and only one person knows its life history - and can't tell anyone.
Or something like that.

seen it before so i closed it before the scary thing poped out at me! lol NOT FUNNY.... i get scared very easily
