Hello,
I have been on 2 courses of Accutane (Jul'08-Jan'09 and Sep'09-Jun'10). Both courses were good to me during the treatment. Though after my first course, the acne and oil came back about 6 months later. After my second course, the oil came back about a month later, and now I'm dealing with very, very mild but persistent acne.
I would like to try going on a long term, low-dose Accutane course! (10 mg EOD, or even 10-20mg weekly) I have brought it up to my derm, she sounded like she would have liked to help, but didn't feel comfortable prescribing it to me like this.
I am seeing a new derm in Noveraber to ask for it. Do derms prescribe this type of dosing often?
