THIS IS THE 1ST PART OF A 2 PAGE POST
So for the longest while i had been living a relatively normal life with no major health problems.
On a Thursday about 2 weeks ago i got very VERY drunk. and that is when all my problems seem to have started. That night i drank way more than i should have. i also smoked like 3 cigarettes and i dont smoke..
The next day i of course was hungover. So i spent the majority of the day hanging out at home feeling crappy.
The next day is when all my problems started. I would be sitting in my computer chair and my heart would all of the sudden feel like it stoped for a second.. then after about a half second it would come back with a large beat.
at the time certain positions seemed to trigger the issue more frequently.
i left the problem alone for the first day figuring it was a result from the smoking of the night before. then the next day i began to have chest pain that would radiate to my shoulders and the side of my arms.
also it become hard to breath while lying on my back.
I got scared because i realized this was a general sign of heart attack. so i looked my heart thing up on web md. it said that if the palpations make you feel lightheaded to seek help imediatly.
Well they had given me a very small sense of dizzyness when they happend so i figured i would go see a doctor.
So i went to my local clinic and talked to my doctor. He said that it sounded like pvc and wanted to send me to the larger hospital about 30 minutes away to get a full array of tests done.
So after my time spent at the Hospital i found that they agreed i had PVC(premature ventricular contraction)
I however wanted to know why i had it. so i talked to my local doctor at the clinic and he said it could be caused by my being a larger person (over 300 lbs) but then again i have always been athletic for my size playing sports and such and im only 24. so he also said the reason for the pvc could be inflamation of the sack around the heart..called paracarditis.
he said that was in line with my chest pain, and pain in the chest while lying down with dificulty breathing. it also explained the sudden onset.
