I aint gonna say it all is or was perfect.

it needs to be better... whether that means tighter, more efficient, more accurate or all of the above I dont know.

but then again, Im not a financial systems expert or an oil/energy production expert...

that said, these are two examples of industries that have had free reign as a result of lobbyist dollars to do what they want, and proven that they can cause catastrophies that extend their shit storm far and wide... in both cases, I think some better oversight could have been beneficial to all.
