He never said that. Anyways, it was going to be a foreign policy debate... So, Obama would have lost. McCain needs to help our country by addressing the economic crisis. On the other hand, Obama can keep campaigning because he is a useless senator.

When he said what you think he said he was addressing a specific economic topic. It doesn't take much of an economist to know raising taxes isn't the way to stimulate an economy. Apparently Obama doesn't realize this. Just for your information the subject of Friday night's debate is foreign policy. It has nothing to do with economics. While we are talking economics how would Obama's agenda adversely effect our economy? Well first just raising taxes to begin with will hurt. One of the main objectives of the tax raise is for health care. This would effect the Health care industry its self and the insurance industry as well. Too bad for the insurance industry you say? Its a large part of the economy. Look around your neighborhood at brokers and agents. What about directly written health care plans at employment. None of Obama's supporters think about that and he doesn't either. Every pipe dream he talks about looks great on paper. Its when you get to the nuts and bolts when the wheels fall off.
