Locked Siemens A56 using Freia>< help please

Hi,
I have problem with using Freia.
I don't get any errors or problem make firmware & eeprom with Freia software, but I cant unlock my phone model A56(A55 in Europe). Do you guys have any ideas what's going on? I get below messages in process information box and I don't think my phone is unlocked. I tried use my phone(A56) for A55 or C55 to unlock...but nothing works... Please help..............

I guess I need either unlocked A56 or C56 firmware or eeprom. Just my guess....let me know if you guys know or have unlocked firmware.
 
I have used the Siemens Service Tool from

to unlock my A56.

It worked!

To find out the locks of a SIEMENS phone:

Take out the SIM and switch on the phone.
Press *#0606#, then
"Info" (left Softkey)
If you get 5 x "Unbarred" there are no locks!
 
Did you use the full or freeware version of the siemens software? I found that the unlock process stops in the middle.
 
you mean Freia? Freia is a free software....should be aiite...
but Siemens Servie Tool box,, I used it.. and result says unlocked..
but i dun think it's unlocked
 
Where can I download Fiera?
I used the Siemens toolbox, what happened was that I plugged my a56 to the cable, pressed the "unlock" button, when it asks for power on, I pushed the power button, then it loads something from the phone and stops.
it doesn't seem to be doing anything for around 2 mins so I just pulled the phone from the plug. Then I checked the phone and its still locked, so the program did nothing to it.
Anyone has any idea how I can get this program to work for me? I am willing to try other programs too.

Both are freeware... no registration or a dongle required.
Best Unlocking Software for Siemens, but I don't think they are really working. Some says working, Some don't... Use bulk china cheap serial cable for Siemens, and com port or any settings with port... just stay default, you don't have to change anything with COM1 OR COM2 port. but the speed of connection... I recommend 5xxxxx somthing....slowest for stability. In case with unstable connections, use Clean Windows 98 Second Edition re-installed. both software still seems have minor bugs.... some errors...I found.

I'll post results of my findings.

I am still scratching my head why the 'siemens toolbox' stops when it's unlocking my phone. Its obvious the program and the phone communicated.. and it's not like a fatal error occured during the process(i.e: program freeze).
 
There are a few things, you should check:

- NEVER use the original SIEMENS cable at a "real" COM port. It won't work (has been mentioned!).
- AVOID the use of an USB cable. It might work - or not.
- CHECK the port settings. The ones in the program and the one form your computer (Start / Settings / System I think). Is the FIFO on / off?
