Local idiot unlocker just brought a 3GS iphone to me that he

was trying to jailbreak/unlock. Apparently he used Blackra1n and installed Cydia, but it was a 5.12.01 and of course it was a tethered jb. Then he has told me he decided to try spirit after using blackra1n!! So now it is stuck on restore screen. The blobs were not saved and I can't seem to restore it using Itunes. Is there anything I can do to get it working again please? I guess if I download the latest 4.0.1 I can get it working again but then at this moment it is not possible to jailbreak right? Any solution please?
 
this solution is tested on 3gs v 3.1.3
Download repair boot 3gs 3.1.3.rar - FisierulMeu.ro ....try this if not upgraded and is still 3.1.3...

its not a dead boot^ Needs a restore but it'll have to be an upgrade..

Hmm Put in recovery mode and see if u cn gt SHSH Blobs :-)
 
do not upgrade the phone...just the boot chain is broken...pay atention...
install libusb drivers and try recboot form the link above
The easiest way to say bye,bye to the phone is to upgrade it.try to rapair the actual damage....good luck!!
 
But I just think he will be happy if it switches on and tell customer he can't unlock/jailbreak it now and give it back!

So will update it and tell them to wait

dog ka nga iho! d ka man lng naawa dinamay no pa inosente na customer sa katangahan ng unlocker.....
 
check if it's new boot or old boot.. then we will see if we can help you.. post the serial and midel of your phone.. 32gb? or 16gb? 3gs..??
