Local bike shop vs Online retailer?

I run into the same dilemma from time to time. If my LBS is close on the price - I'll usually go with him. If there's a vast difference - save yourself some $$$.

Yes, there's a recession going on. It effects not only the business man but the consumer as well. I've bought two bikes from the same shop. But when I find a bargain just 'too good to pass up', I'll go for the extra $$$ in my pocket vs. his any day.

I buy (or at least give my LBS the first shot) most of my bike parts from my LBS, however some online deals are just too good to give up. btw im in Canada which seems to be an economic term for overcharge.
For example my LBS is willing to order me a parktools PCS-4-1 bike stand for $475 +tax = $536.75
I can order it from JensonUSA have here tomorrow with all tax/freight/duty paid for $323 CAD.
I am a small business owner myself so I understand the need to support small business, but a $200 dollar difference is alot.
Also when I went to order my frame from said LBS the guy had a new 18" 29 frame on sale so now I have two bikes to build. I think this guy will be getting enough of my money.

So my question is do i suckit up for the sake of loyalty and possible future discounts or go for the quick deal?
