Most of Oblivion you are not sitting in load screens. The load screens do take a lot longer then Zelda, but if it is done right, it doesn't take away from the game play. Oblivion was a bad example for you to use IMO.

Most side quests would be going to someone house to find somthing (load times)
All you did in oblivion was load shit. I got so sick of it i just ran through the game to beat the main story.
If oblivion was a bad choice in your eyes, i hate to play the game you think is bad.

Try Gears of War. The game loads ONCE when you start it and that's it. I don't mind loading times. It's not like games take ages to load.
