Living in Greece, Italy, or Bahamas-military relocation?

My brother in law is considering re-enlisting in the military since it's so hard to get a job as a police officer right now. He and my sister are thinking about relocating out of country. The choices they have are Greece, Italy, and the Bahamas. He's in the navy. And he'd be re-enlisted for 3 years.
Any ideas on living in these places. Especially military experienced.
