whats the best msn messenger software for S60 v3? Ive the live messenger software from the nokia china website but that has stopped working now.

try www.fring.com, it includes a lot more than msn messenger like yahoo, google talk and skype.

I like fring myself too.. I used a few others like EQO but Fring has been the most stable

How do I use fring with MSN?? I installed it and set it all up but I do not see my MSN buddy list where I can send messages to.

you have to subscribe "service" first.
and from there you add, diff service, can also add sip service.

fring doesnt work very well with me and my nokia n73. i can get the service working, but it seems that it takes quite a while to refresh when conversation becomes long and therefore requires scrollbar.

also, if you open more than one conversation, it will automatically switches to the window that have just received the message (which sometimes is not how you want it coz you are in the middle of typing something).

You can try Mig33 go to Mig33.com. It's not great but it works. Also try the new Wireless Village. Look at the top of the S60 forum and there's a sticky to use the built in IM program.
