I'm all in favor of a PPV event for Charity. This event is is an all-star (NASCAR) dirt race benefiting the Victory Junction Gang Camp's new Kansas City wing, the Tony Stewart Foundation, and other charities.

So, why is bell charging 24.99 for SD, 29.99 for HD and 34.99 if you order online, like i just tried to do.

Do you think bell sends any of the extra 5 HD bucks to any charity? And another extra 5 bucks to order online.

I love supporting charities, especially for kids, but i suspect the kids will see very little of my 34.99.

I hate it when big corporations gouge us for what is supposed to be a chairity event. Maybe i should have put this in the rant thread?

I plan to order this too, not sure of the price discrepancies.

It better work though, I tried to order the UFC event from Montreal the other month but I couldn't get it done not matter how I tried. Through the receiver, by phone or on the internet, I tried for close to an hour and finally gave up.

Bell is simply offering the event at the suggested retail price. All distributors of the event, in Canada and the United States, are doing the same.

YEAH, THEY OFFER IT AT THE SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE, AND $5.00 MORE, AND $10.00 MORE.

Those are the suggested retail prices as laid out by the event provider. Bell is handling the pricing the same way that every other service provider is in North America.

It will be on Speed-HD for free in a couple of months...oh wait...you don't get Speed-HD...
