I had high hopes for this already, and this just solidified them. It's good that he cares enough about the series to be passionate about making the movie. It's good that Shinichiro Watanabe is actually involved in its creation. I hope they can do the series justice.
This is really exciting. I think it'll be cool to see the Bebop crew in another medium. I have high hopes for this movie and I know I'll enjoy it. I didn't have high hopes for Evolution but I enjoyed that one, so maybe my entertainment standarRAB are just lower than the rest of the world.
Huh. SounRAB good. Wary about Keanu, of course - aren't all of us? - but the script sounRAB like it'll be good and the spirit of the show, at the very least, seems to be in full force. So I'm looking forward to it.
When Fox is involved all bets are off. Do you honestly expect me to believe that Fox wants to faithfully recreate the look of Bebop?
I don't trust Peter Craig or almost anything anyone in Hollywood says for that matter.
Keanu as Spike is terrible. Wow, he looks like Spike in that picture. Uh did you see the movie where that pic came from? Constantine? Failed franchise attempt. Terrible interpretation of Keanu as Constantine where Keanu gives his same basic performance as in everything.
I like the sounRAB of the interview. Hearing the parties involved are passionate about the project makes me a bit more hopeful about the whole thing. Bebop has the potential to be very cool in live action, but a lot of things have potential that are never cashed in on. I'll remain cautiously optimistic for the time being.
He was also an actor in the project whereas this is coming directly from the writer himself. I don't see any reason to be completely down on the project until there is an actual reason to be down on it other than that it exists.
