Little things you noticed in movies

I'll check it out on my DVD copy later, but off the top of my head I seem to remember he does take it out of the frame and discard the frame. However, the canvas is still mounted on a rigid back, but the case is designed to 'break' the back so that the canvas can fold up without damaging it. That's a bit of a guess, though.

Small continuity error while watching Mr & Mrs Smith last night. Jolie puts a bomb in Pitt's jacket when they are in the resturant. She escapes and Pitt has to discard the jacket before it explodes. They race each other home and Pitt is seen in the car, still wearing the jacket! The film swaps to Jolie, then back to Pitt, still in the car, but without the jacket again. OK, it;s a small mistake, but how does that happen? There's no point in the film where we see Pitt driving wearing the jacket previously, so it's not a mis-edit. Someone in wadrobe mucked up.

Kate & bloody Leopold. Some opera wasn't written when it was meant to be set but Leopold knew all about it.

Also, it the aerial scene with the Uruk-hai carrying Merry & Pippen you can't see Merry or Pippen on their backs...

I hate the fact in movies they spend so much money on mirrors to stop there cameras from flecting so that we cannot see them, but ooops in most movies we see there cameras relfected in the window of a car, or door or a small object, yet they spend all this money on mirrors and spend all day filming to prevent mistakes yet they end up having mistakes? does not make any sense, in my opinion i think this is money wasting.

Theres a scene in The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Where Blondie and Tuco are rigging the bridge to blow, If you look closley you can see cars going by on the road in the distance.
Bit strange for saying that the film is set in the old west.

Very famous one - The Ferrari parked in the chariot scene in ben hur....and when he gives jesus some water about half way through you can see traffic passing in the background !!

Music & Lyrics - when they're having breakfast. You see shots from behind Hugh and from behind Drew - they switch depending on whos talking. Anyway in a couple of shots Drew picks her cup up to take a drink, the shot switches to behind her and the cup is still on the table. It even disappears completely at one point.

Star Wars. Stormtrooper bangs his head as the blast door opens in the scene where R2 & C3PO are told to wait while Han & Luke go to save Princess Leia. Very funny part, and very noticeable and was never taken out of the movie as it was never spotted by the crew.

In Music and Lyrics when Hugh and Drew are in a 'coffee' shop having a muffin and juice, they cut between the 2 of them talking and time and time again Drew is eating a different piece of muffin before it goes back to the original. And the juice level in her cup goes up and down and up and down!distracted me from what they were talking about totally!

Edit...great minRAB think alike...!!

They do this sort of things in loaRAB of movies, could it be a brainwashing? i dont know why they do this because they are filming in the same location, time and set so there is no excuses, i always think this could be a trick to get people to drink coke or something.

One i always noticed was at the end of Officer and a Gentleman. Richard Gere swings her up in his arms to carry her off into the sunset and Debra Winger smacks her ankle off a table in the factory.

Also the famous 3 Men and a Baby one when some weird random bloke appears in the apartment. I was just a kid at the time and there were loaRAB of rumours going around that it was a ghost. Scared the bejesus out of me :o

Another one that always jarrs with me is in Pretty Woman when she gathers her stuff up and storms out of the apartment leaving the money on the bed. The shot at the lift shows her with the clothes under her arms and then from a different angle they are over her arms.
