Little Miss Sunshine

I enjoyed its quirks. It's well acted and very well directed, but it's a slight film, rather contrived and not totally original, except that it's American and they don't usually do these sort of movies with mixed-emotion endings and what they see as 'losers' and we see as endearing, flawed, comic-poignant characters, so in that sense it was refreshing. It's done well in Bafta nominations - 6, predictably less so in the Oscars - 4.

Nice film

Disturbed by the Beauty pageant but I would imagine they were ,ike that

Abigail Breslan should walk home with the oscar but she has no hype behind her. J HuRABon has already been anointed

I watched it first last summer on my ipod , in bed at 3am and my mum actually came running into my room as she thought something had happened to me as I was laughing so hard at that bit! :o

Whaddya mean, "in spite of Stuck On You"?? I love that film!

But yeah, Little Miss Sunshine is absolutely wonderful. Just picked it up today for the paltry sum of
