Little Miss Sunshine Appreciation

Did she? I've seen Abigail in interviews and she looked pretty much the same she did in the movie. I thought her body was über cute, it actually looked like a child's body. She's cute from head to toe :love: And the glasses? They made her even cuter! :)

I just saw this movie tonight and let me tell you,it was AMAZING! The best movie I've seen in awhile.It was funny,touching...everything.I went to see it just because it looked like a good indie flick and because I love Steve,but it was just a great great movie.Everyone in the cast is so talented and especially Greg and Steve! The characters are so amazing and complex that you see everyone's good and bad sides.

And I'm not joking about it being hilarious.I was laughing outloud the entire time! There are certain scenes that are just classic,laugh outloud for minutes moments.I was so impressed with not only the actors(esp Steve because I never thought of Michael Scott once during the movie) but the director and the writer.Well written,well directed,well acted.The little girl is so sweet.I'm telling everyone I know to go see it!

Since I saw one of the earlier screenings and I live in NYC,they gave out free t-shirts which was really cool.I got a Little Miss Sunshine t-shirt that says 'I Hate Everyone' on it.I loved the movie so much that I might see it again.I figure I can't post any spoiler things on here unless it'll be whited out so I can't say anything but that you'll have a blast!
 
im still stuck on the dinner scene with Dwayne and his notebook... him and Frank are my favorites right now... and when they leave Olive at the gas station... lolz now i wanna watch it again
 
I really liked this movie. It made me laugh..and it made me feel sad, too. I love it when movies do that. I had no expectations going into it because I hadn't heard anything about it really. One of my favorite parts was one of the last scenes whenSteve Carrell's character says, I think we can live with that. I love the way he delivered that line. :)

When I bought the movie I also got a free screenplay with notes..so that's cool..I'll have to give them a look over see if there is anything interesting in there.
 
Yeah i think he OD'd, that really sucks but great ending though.

i got this movie for my birthday and never saw it before and when i watched it omg, it was great. i wasnt sure if i was gonna like it. but i do like it!! it was so cute and funny. and sad too but it's also great. =D
 
Little Miss Sunshine! I've been searching for this thread for ages. I adore this film, and I can't pick a favorite character as they're all so well-developed and complex played by brilliant actors. I especially loved the dance scene, I seriously wish my family was like that.

I agree that the grandpa didn't commit suicide, he just OD'd. The doctor even said "It was too much for him". Too bad though, I would've loved to see the family's reaction towards him when they saw the dance he taught Olive.
 
I finally saw it! after not wanting to because i thought i'd hate it! :lol:

I actually really enjoyed it! :D
