Yeah. When we were at Brett's family reunion last August we spent most of our time up in the woods taking pictures of whatever looked interesting. I liked this little shed, so I took a lot of pictures of him sitting and standing on it.
When I was taking this one, I had him sit where I wanted him and as I put the camera up to get a good look and got in close....REALLY close...I noticed that spider. I screamed like a little girl and backed off. He was like "OMG WHAT?" and I was like "Check out that huge spider. I don't want anywhere near it." Of course he jumped down for a second and took a look at it and was like "oh it's not that big, and it's not gonna hurt you." So I had to get back in and get back close...REALLY close...bleh. It creeped me out pretty bad, so thankfully I got a couple good pics really fast.
I like spiders. It's fun to capture a couple Black Widows and put them in the same jar as a couple Wolf spiders the Wolves usually win. Muahahahahahaha fight my minions fight!!
When my parents first moved into the house they live in now, we were warned of one thing about the house. In the garage, there was this HUGE WOLF SPIDER. We did end up killing it. I took a shovel. I swear it was like a small dog.
I'm not really scared for those fuckers, I just didn't know they came int those skinny big sizes :happysad: I've seen videos of a spider catching and eating a bird, that was pretty awesome.
Technically not a spider, but it is an arachnid. We have these tailless whip scorpions here. I saw one the size of my face in an underground tunnel once.
