I'm curious to know what should be included as far as credentials go when you have none related to the publishing world. I am an accountant with a B.S. degree in accounting and management, I graduated as Valedictorian of my high school, I received various awards in school, and I'm a public notary. All this stuff is great and gives you the idea of what type of person I am, but I've only ever written for personal pleasure. Now I'm considering getting a sci-fantasy novel published (hopefully), but I have no clue what I should include in my query letter as far as credentials are concerned.
