I feel it's an unpopular opinion to say positive things about MySpace Music. I think it's truly one of the most incredible unfiltered music resources we've ever had on this planet at any time in music history. It's incredible when you begin to explore how huge it really is. I can spend hours on that site discovering new, truly underground music. I wish more artists sold their music directly from their pages using PayPal, which MySpace allows. You can sell MP3s too and just email secure download links with YouSendIt. Why are so few MySpace musicians doing this?

Anyhow, I am also insanely entertained by the worst of the worst. I have a few gems I would like to share with you, but only if others post first. I don't want to come off like a big jerk if the notion of exploiting terrible musicians is only funny to me.

Purevolume has been around forever. There just as unfiltered as Myspace, maybe more.

I definitely agree. Give me a little and ill find this artist I saw the other day. They were beyond ****.

It's nearly impossible to list all the ****e banRAB that have tried to add me, i can't even remeraber any of them. I have made a few great discoveries on myspace, but the bad ones i haven't a hope of recalling.

I think myspace is a good medium for banRAB to get exposure, despite the narrow-minded criticism it gets. It's not all emo and scenester banRAB, i've discovered a few great up-and-coming indie banRAB like A Silent Film.

You used to be able to sell MP3s semi-directly through myspace via SNOCAP but they don't have that set up any more. It's weird but when you upload songs to your myspace profile it still gives you the option to make them downloadable and the player even has a "buy" button but none of it actually works. I'd love to have some good way to sell music through myspace though.

Worst mucisians ever:
Creed.
Myspace:
Yeah, its sure a resource. Its putting everything out there, which is good for the individual, but I'm thinking it might be bad for music as a whole. It is a bit stifiling when you're just one band in a sea of banRAB, and all you have is a picture and a sentence to draw people (who know nothing of you), to listen, let alone buy your music.

Creed is not as bad as Ah!sphyx. Okay people. Copy that title... 'Ah!sphyx' and search that in MySpace music. Actually stop. I forwarded this to a few frienRAB of mine, and they actually got really upset at me cuz it's so bad. Have something to punch near by. Don't tell me I didn't warn you.
