List reasons as to why the iPhone sucks.

I don't hate it, it's just not right for me:

No 3G, no keyboard, no 3rd party apps, no swappable battery or SIM card.

If they sold a version with the PDA, iPod, video, and wifi functionality, and added a stylus with handwriting recognition, I'd get THAT however. Basically just an iPhone without the phone bits, and adding HWR.

Verizon are fucking nazis. Phone crippling cunts. "Hey, can we put our shitty red interface on here that makes even a Motorola look good?" "No" "Can we take all the money for ringtone sales?" "No" "Can we put a Verizon badge on it?" "No" "Then we don't want it"

Didn't see all the threads about EDGE suddenly being as fast as 3G this morning eh? oh and it uses up to N speed on local networks...

Softkeyboard FTMFW, it works great

Battery life - for some reason i'm thinking of the ipod battery replacement program that's $69. iPhone's are being treated as pretty much the same type of product

etc - ? what else would you like me to disprove for ya this evening

I admit the EDGE speeds were slow..but i was able to go to another app and play with something else while a webpage loaded

even the wifi was slow but there were a lot of pple in the apple store playing with the phones

My phone has both. Tactile feedback for the ultra win.

Apples and oranges (no pun intended), the iPhone is for the most part marketed to people who would prioritise entertainment and multifunction, over a more dedicated business phone. However the "blackberry" problem is a bit exagerated, since you can usualy access corperate email via other meens.

That's a nice sentiment. Too bad all the 3rd party "software" that will be available for the iPhone will have to use Safari as a run time environment, and thus be extremely limited in what it can actually do.

i'm calm, i know the iphone isnt for everyone...they virtual keyboard wont appeal to everyone...all i say is try it out 1st before anyone judges that it's a trendy overpriced novelty

Not really much choice in the matter. T-Mobile isn't big enough, and nobody else is GSM. CDMA development would be a waste of time and money, pretty much.
