The fact that Rare has moved to Microsoft is a huge disappointment as it means most of the best N64 games won't be downloadable. That includes Goldeneye
Last I read, Nintendo was in the works of cutting two cheques, one with Microsoft and the other with whatever company currently owns the James Bond title.
But as far as other Rare games go, why has DKC come out in Japan? Perhaps they have different copyright laws over there because it would make sense why Nintendo is holding back on alot of VC titles for North America and Europe.
i want Banjo Kazooie, but nooo rare had to be a sandy vagina and take the rights with them. fuck rare for all i care now. thats the only good game they made besides helping with Donkey Kong 64
I have this weird addiction to Super Mario World....every year or so, I need to play it as fast as possible all the way through and get 96*.
I missed out on Super Mario Advance 2 the first time it came out, then it was out of print for a while and rereleased this summer as a players choice game so i grabbed it and played it again...unfortunately had to use my Gameboy SP because the buttons on the DS just don't feel right..anyone else notice that?
I'll probably have to buy the VC game when it comes out.
On the other hand, you have to admit, it's pretty cool having NES, SNES, N64 and Sega Genesis on one console and being able to change games in seconds without having to get up to change (and blow on) cartridges
