Is this normal? I know, it sounds really nasty, and it is. It's clear and sometimes redish, like blood. You can barely tell it apart from saliva/ It tastes very gross, and I constantly have to spit it out. My parents say rinse with mouthwash but it doesn't really help. What is this?
I forgot to add I got my teeth extracted Friday, June 18. So it's been... 4 days.

I just got mine out. for the first 1 - 2 days, my mouth was full of jelly blood like you. My doctor said not to spit too much, instead gently rinse with warm salt water. And make sure you continue rinsing for a couple weeks because I didn't and mine got infected ..and it sucked.

you have not mentioned, when you have done your extraction.
for first 1-2 days, it is normal to have reddish flows.
but if it is already a week or longer then you must be having dry socket & you must visit your dentist.

I've had @ jaw surgeries that requuired large incisions in my life.I ALWAYS used PEroxide to gargle twice daily or as needed...It really helps with infection and it sounds like that is possibly what u have...Try your best not to chew or get anyfood in it..But if you do ,go directly to the sink and gargle with the PEroxide and keep it cleaned out or you WILL have infection.....There is also a product called Peri-Gard and a few others that can help here.BUT I HIGHLY recommend PEroxide but may wanna check with dentist first,.Just a quick call...Shouldnt be any problem and I have been there a few times myself...Hope this helps
