Hi all-
I've had arthritis and siatica pain beginning when I was the young age of 27. Now 58. I've pretty much have learned to live with it. You know how you learn how to move or avoid doing somethings because you know you'll have pain. A few years ago it flared up with burning in both legs and took Lyrica. It worked great and after a several months I was able to stop taking it and the burning is gone. But I have been having trouble sleeping with back pain. I roll to one side I get sciatica and I roll to the other side and my hip burns and goes nurab. I lay flat on my back and it starts out ok but then I wake up to intense pain and almost feel like I'm paralized. So I push myself to roll on my hip and it feels better because I've moved but then the whole cycle of hip problems starts up again. Round and round all night. So my GP gave me Mobic to take at night and that has helped my hip pain so I'm able to make it thru the night but still wake up in intense pain across the lower back. So I started seeing a massage therapist to see if that could help me. Well she has found several large bumps on my lower back where the pain is generally located. I asked my GP about them and he said they are lipomas and nothing to worry about. But what do you think? How common is it to have multiple lipomas in your lower back? Should I persue this? Thanks for any feed back.
