But what about those that watch but don't like certain aspects of it; what are they going to do?

Saying that, I'm baffled that anybody could be offended or insulted by this show, but everyone is entitled to their own feelings.
 
Let's face it, the acting from the female cast members was pretty awful. Laura Fraser was the only one who came close to impressing me, very disappointing. How ironic that the only characters I cared about were the two male ones!
 
Surely the channel that this programme appeared on should have offered enough warning that it was not going to contribute to a greater public knowledge about sexuality.

Lord Reith would be turning in his grave.

Its like asking how can Coronation Street have so many murderers, criminals etc

However I will go on to defend this and say the following points:

1. First scene was in New York, so hardily a small area
2. They have been frienRAB for years, building up different networks of new frienRAB and so forth. Its not like they are meeting anyone new (apart from 3), its all people they already know.
3. When you are in a certain section of a crowd, you are bound to find more in that crowd. If you stay in a straight only pub, chances are youll know nobody who isnt straight. However stay in a LGBT night club etc you are bound to build connections and know a lot more of them you thought never existed.
4. One of the additional characters is met on the internet so increases the scope of this small area

Frankie's mannerisms are even copied from shane. It's like they made her watch the l word and told her they wanted her to be exactly like that. Shane also slept with men. This was mentioned in series 1 when she was paid for sex.
 
I read that in the paper alot of people complained about the scene when 2 of them were at it in a funeral parlour. People complain about anything these days.
I really like it and the characters are great,Tess makes me laugh and I love Frankies hair.x
 
I luved it :D it was so funny in places, like when Tess was messing around with that robot and you could see Lou so wanted to snog her, then she jumped on her :D the bit in the morgue was kind of off putting, but's it's a tv programme and not real. all of the lesbian characters are very hot, I can't wait till next week :D

I bet if it was gay men half the people on here and on the sun wouldn't be moaning. :D
 
Sorry to dissapoint but I am a lady however I do know if a man was really looking for naked lesbians/fake looking sex it would be a lot easier to find it on the internet than sit through some of the dull plots in display on this show.

I think Frankie is minging and too much of the show is devoted to her. I watched it again on iplayer since last time I was half watching the HG Wells thing on BBC Four since that was much more interesting, but I fast forwarded through all the Frankie stuff. She's just plain revolting in every way possible. Although on second thoughts I actually like the cop character, she seems strangly sane for this show.

I'm predicting now that we will find out the Lou is secretly shagging her co-host at some point.
