Lip Service BBC Three

i agree, i remember all the outrage when queer as folk was aired longsince, seems lesbians, even in this day and age are still the ultimate taboo, brave and daring are a good way to describe it,and about time :)

nice to see a guy with his brain somewhere other than in his pants for a change;) you make some valid points but overall i think its good and very watchable, frankie s character although a bit lifeless is very convincing, shes messed up, she loves cat/wants to be loved but has barriers up and she knows its destroying her, she wants to make out she couldnt give a flying ferret, hence the meaningless flings, i knew someone exactly like that, good under the surface but too many mental/emotional problems to allow herself to admit it, but i think her character will unfold - i also think shes hot:eek: i like the cop character as well, shes lovely..... but of course thats nothing to do with why i watch:o

Sorry if I caused any offence... wasn't meant at all. I'm not gonna dig a deeper hole for myself, just those I've seen in real life, where I come from, have been mannish. I'll rest my case, I won't be watching next week. I'm sure a lot of you will so enjoy the show. I'll instead be watching seven days and no doubts be sat up with a mug of hot chocolate.

I love this programme the end scenes where so hot wow :D

But not just that great acting all around to and its quite moving in parts along with the soundtracks its better than i thought it would be, best thing on TV since This is England 86.

What exactly is the point of Frankie? She's just a Dick, are they trying to pass her off as cool or something? She just comes across as a Dick, everything she's done so far just adRAB to her character being an unlikeable idiot, I shouldn't really be siding with that Villain Uncle of hers, but I can really see why he hates her!

i thought it was good, same writers as mistresses which i also enjoyed, was pretty accurate, and to the above person who sad there arent many attractive lesbians in real life, not the case

Watched this Tuesday night and although the writing and the acting are pretty bad, I really want to see more and I don't know why!
Tess is definitely my favourite character so far too. I think her relationship with Lou will be very interesting and entertaining to watch.

Tess does remind me of Alice, but hardly a full on clone. Unlike Frankie/Shane(one difference though is Frankie will have sex with men too). Tess is the best character so far.

It's a decent show, written by women I believe, so it's all out of female minRAB(so another thing towarRAB that silly notion of lipstick porn for men). It's nothing great but it's a welcome show on British screens with all right acting, certainly not bad.

The woman who plays Cat's new girlfriend, the policewoman, is a lesbian in real life apparently.

Yes off course attractive lesbians are rare.......

I was disappointed. The storyline was a bit predictable and Frankie is a complete Shane (TLW) clone, bar the blonde hair.

Its probably a bit unfair to compare it to TLW but unfortunately that is inevitable. The acting was poor and Frankie's 2 sex scenes just made me cringe the way she was wriggling around like a worm!

Still, i'll give it another chance seeing as this was the first one, but I don't think I can be doing with a passive Kat and a will they, won't they story line between her and Frankie.

I didn't last more than about 15 minutes. Just seems like a bunch of hard-faced people poncing about, somewhat pretentiously. Some of which happen to be lesbians, apparently.
