Lip numb after surgery

Hi
I am new on here and just wondered if anyone had a numb bottom lip after surgery. The surgery was on my shoulder but I had a nerve block as well as a general

I am also a newbie here, since the surgery was on your shoulder I suggest you go and see your GP about your numb lip. The nerve block could be the source of the problem, however you need a doctor to look at this and investgate it if he thinks it is not cuased by the nerve block.
 
Also new here but had surgery for hernia on Tuesday. The center of my bottom lip has been numb ever since but I can also feel a slight sore on the inside. I think I was biting down on the breathing tube and my lip was caught in between. It hasn't gone away yet but it's not that annoying. Good luck with yours and I hope your recovery goes well.
