Linkstart vs Powerrun?

NX!

I've been using Powerrun for a while, and I've recently discovered Linkstart. I poked at it a little bit and it seemed to be a lot more superior than Powerrun. It is also free.

Has anyone tried Linkstart? I haven't noticed any problems with it, and I just want to make sure there is no caveats before I decide to dump Powerrun for good.

Their homepage is here:

Thanks.

I am a PowerRun lover and didn't know Linkstart even existed. I read the link you provided.
I guess if I didn't have PowerRun I might have considered using Linkstart - since it is free.
However, since I am PowerRun believer, I even recently installed the upgrade...now running PowerRun 1.3. The only problem I ever encountered was before I used backup buddy and my palm m515 (what I used to have) crashed and I had to reload everything.
I had to use Filez or FileProg to clean up my expansion card so that I could move the reinstalled files to the card through PowerRun. Until I removed those files on the card with FileZ or FileProg the card thought the program was already there and would not install duplicate files. Now I have backup buddy and no longer have this file.
Also with PowerRun 1.2 there were some files that would not run through PowerRun because there was a break in some of the software. However the developer has done an excellant job of fixing this glich and now everything works very well and runs very smoothly....
