Engine Mechanical problem
2004 Lincoln LS 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 80000 miles
My check engine light went on yesterday. When I got the car home I popped the hood and listened to the engine idle and it seemed quit comparably to before. The next morning I started it back up and hit the gas. The rpms have always only gone up to 3000rpms but when I did this it made light popping noises like some sort of misfire. I recently have replaced cylinder coils 4 of 6, a crank sensor, and repaired a few oil leaks and an alternator. I also had my ac charged recently but it seems to be malfunctioning and don't know if that has anything to do with this, sometimes cold sometimes heat. Any idea what this may be?
