The location probably isn't ideal for any companies European HQ because it isn't on the motorway network or anywhere near an airport unfortunately. Also being a relatively small place away from any big population centres it might be difficult for the company to attract the right staff to work there and to find appropriate premises.

...it's European base there? Something I'm working on right now. Plenty of time to make the decision but I like all the input I can get.
