hi i recently installed new plug wires into my continental should i put shieldings on them?

depends on what year the car is.did your old wires have shields?

OEM replacement wires already have everything they need if you ran them the same way as the factory did. However, you can use plastic split corrugated wire loom jackets to slip around any area of the wires that lays on the engine or otherwise needs to be spaced away from the other wires etc.

I never had em in my 68 460 So long as the wires are not touching the engine or exhaust. After a drive feel them to see if they seem too hot. Have fun!
