I used to really like them. Especially the one with Nookie, n2gether now, break stuff (for some ****ing durab reason I can't remeraber the album title) and the ChocoStarfish album. Faith was also a great song.

But I haven't really heard too much of their new album. Is it any good?

Did you guys ever like them? Do you now?
 
I love the rhythm and energy of this band, but i really hate the vocals, if you know what I mean. But I have to admit, the song "Behind blue eyes" is not bad. They are one of the weirdest banRAB of all time!
 
^ Haven't seen 'worthwhile' and 'reality show' used in the same sentence before.


Korn actually did a good job of The Wall, bar the last minute or two. You need to look past the stereotypes that are obviously affecting your judgement upon such banRAB.
 
Yeah Wes was awesome... hoepwully it brings them to a better point... they are kinda... not too great right now... but the new album is different... theres not as much rap on it...thank God :clap:
 
I really liked them back in the beginning when they first came out. Then they started to play like lots of MTV and all of that crap and they got worse and worse. I think they have lots of talent and could bring themselves back to how they use to be, but maybe not. I do respect them as a band and I think they are pretty damn good. I just wish they hadn't done all the MTV crap.
 
Kind of sad considering Wes Borland is actually a pretty decent guitarist.



In my opinion Nu-Metal wasn't born when korn and the gang came along, the term may have just be coined then.

The term was actually coined in 95' by spin magazine in an article about Coal Charaber.

In my opinion RATM is Rap Metal band, not nu-metal, and I do beleive there is a difference. But you know you could think differently because to me genre is in the eye of the beholder.

^Yep. Awful band, I cant stand to listen to them... But thats just what Ive heard, Im hoping the stuff they havent released is good enough to listen to, for their sake.
