Limit on Paternity Tests?

Is there a limit as to how many times a paternity test can be requested or ordered by the court? A paternity test was done 3-4 years ago and it stated that he was not the father, but now the mother is requesting another one. Wouldn't she have to pay for it, especially since one was already done?

Once one comes out negative that guy can't be tested again. It is like double jeopardy, he can't be tested twice for the same kid...

Yes, she would have to pay for a second one unless there is evidence or belief that he may have sent in a shill for his test . If the lab was poorly managed and many errors have been found usually the court will pay for the retest.

My Mom's coworker was able to prove he was the victim of a lab switch (two different men were tested and something was switched).
