I have a cable modem. When I use Toadnode or Bearshare I usually get somewhere over 1000 hosts after a few minutes. However, when I use Limewire, I get 3 to 4 thousand hosts! This is with 6 connections on each of these clients. Is Limewire displaying inaccurate host counts or is it that much better than the others. If so where. Thanks.
 
Probably their router.limewire.com Gnutella Service Provider is giving you better connections than gnutellahosts.com

In BearShare, turn off Keep at least, restart the program, then manually connect to router.limewire.com, and then turn on Keep at least.
