I used to have a lot of guy friends, and i was totally boy crazy and constantly flirting with guys. I have realized how wrong that was and have stopped. However.. I still have a few guy friends I talk to. I keep our conversations modest though, and usually discuss Islam. There's this one guy I recently started talking to who I really really like, but I act totally modest with him. And havn't portrayed my likeness at all. If I like a guy, but have no intention of doing ANYTHING bad, would it still be haraam for me to talk to him? I mean I don't know how to stop myself from liking him, but is it truly wrong to be attracted to a guy in Islam?

Also.. I just want to clarify that I don't constantly like one guy after another anymore. It's just him. Otherwise, I normally don't even look at other guys anymore or discuss 'hot guys' with my friends anymore. Help?

Your actions and feelings are normal, just make sure you dont stay alone with anyone from the opposite sex, i mean in a closed room or something where noone can see you. The shayton is very devious and can play with ones mind. Do be careful for it is also a sin to stay within a closed area with 2 people of the opposite sex as temptation is a difficult thing to resist due to the shayton's whispering.

May Allaah protect us from the shayton and enlighten our hearts to what He 3azzawajal orders us follow inshaa'Allaah
